Melisha Nagiah is a MSc Environmental Science graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand. Through her academic and community work, she is dedicated to finding solutions to water and food security issues. She was worked on issues pertaining to wetland conservation and acid mine drainage and most recently is working for WWF SA-SASSI to create waves of change in the seafood industry. The goal is to highlight the importance of ocean resources and the need for a dynamic sustainable seafood industry.
