Martinique Buys studied Marketing & Communications Management at the University of Pretoria. Martinique has worked in various industries, and has worked her way up the corporate ladder at Global Corporates such as Famous Brands, Estee Lauder & Forever New in various marketing positions. Martinique now works as the Marketing Manager of Sub Saharan Africa for Symrise, one of the leading global flavouring and fragrance suppliers.
Martinique is passionate about marketing and believes that Marketing is not about pushing product, but rather about solving real consumer needs. Although Martinique is extremely driven and hardworking, she believes in balance. Martinique is a qualified Chef, and in her spare time she enjoys nothing more than cooking a meal for loved ones, appreciating good company and having a few laughs.
