EXHIBITOR VIDEO: JAR brings some flavours of the future to Johannesburg
One of Africa’s Big 7’s most exciting exhibitors has released a video explaining both the process and the philosophy behind its range of flavourings. Flavours are one of the biggest growth areas in the food industry and JAR is in Africa from Sunday offering an amazing range to food producers here.
JAR Flavour House has almost 40 years of experience in food flavourings production in Poland where the afamily run company with employs 60 people at its head office and production plant in Warsaw.
The company successfully cooperates with partners in Europe, Middle East and Asia and now gradually is expanding its operations to African markets, with a special focus this year on its clever ‘masking flavours’.
Export director Antoni F. Jaskulski said: “In JAR’s assortment you can find a wide range of sweet flavours (including natural ones) aimed at the confectionery, bakery, dairy, ice cream, beverage, alcohol, e-liquid and food supplements markets. These are available in both liquid and powder form to producers.”
The main focus at this year’s expo will be launching its products across southern Africa, seeking distribution partners in nearby countries. “We are also interested in direct cooperation with manufacturers,” said Mr Jaskulski.
“Africa’s Big 7 is the biggest show located in Africa. Additionally South Africa seems to be the gateway to southern parts of Africa as such.
“The company prides of the highest quality of its powder flavourings available in many varieties, such as cookies & cream, crème brulee, peanut butter and many others. The masking flavours are one of the latest inventions, designed to cover different kind of off-tastes coming from vitamins, proteins, sweeteners and the like.”.
JAR says its priority is to deliver the highest quality product, guaranteed by ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP certification. The company is open to engage in tailor-made projects and creation of unique tastes.
Mr Jaskulski said: “We participates in Gulfood Manufacturing Fair in Dubai every year. Our team will help to select the most suitable flavours and can assist in technological guidance. Our customers’ satisfaction is our success.”
