EXHIBITOR NEWS: Portuguese olive oil leader plans South African expansion
One of Portugal’s leading producers of olive oil will be targeting new customers at Africa’s Big 7 2018.
Mirazeite, SA, is part of a group of Portuguese companies dedicating itself to the production and trading of olive oil and edible oils, since 1997.
Export Manager at Mirazeite Manuel Fonseca says: “We have a great experience in export, particularly to Portuguese-speaking African countries – South Africa, Ivory Coast, Senegal – as well as Brazil, the United States and Canada, China, as well as Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, the UK and Germany.”
At this year’s show the company will be exhibiting its full range of olive oils, including its traditional and extra virgin as well as it wider range of edible oils.
Fonseca said the appearnace in Johannesburg at the end of June was part of a concentrated expansion plan into South Africa. He said Africa’s Big 7 is an ideal platform to meet with existing and new clients in the country and across Southern Africa.
