Jeremy and Emma Borg founded the Painted Wolf Wine Company in 2007 creating a company and a wine brand which is thought provoking, down to earth, high quality and distinct, with conservation at the core of the company’s values.
The company donates 4 to 5% of turnover to painted wolf (African wild dog) conservation through organisations such as The Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) and the Tusk Trust .
Painted Wolf Wines produces high quality wines with a distinctive South African feel. There is an emphasis on Chenin Blanc and Pinotage – the two benchmark South African grape varieties. The company also vinifies other varietals, especially Shiraz and other Rhone grapes.
