EXHIBITOR NEWS: Mizlek chooses Africa’s Big 7 for its latest food launch
A new brand of porridge that was launched successfully in February this year will be looking for international distributors when it appears at Africa’s Big 7 in June.
Mizlek Foods was set up in South Africa in 2014 and is specialised in the manufacturing and distribution of ready-to-eat-meals, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks.
Its latest brand is Nicelek porridge, which has been trialled at selected Spar shops across the country and launches internationally at the June show.
Chief Executive Officer of Mizlek Vusi Ndala said: “I have been attending Africa Big7 for the last four years as both the visitor and presenter to European visitors and exhibitors.
“For all these years, I have monitored, observed and experienced AB7 as Africa’s biggest international expo for sourcing food products. As a result, the plethora of visitors and exhibitors provides immense business opportunities for suppliers and exhibitors alike.
“I have personally established business partnerships in South Africa and Europe through AB7. The presence in the show presents an opportunity to network and interact with potential suppliers, distributors, business partners and of course purchase of product” he said.
