Nicola Coundourakis
Nicola Coundourakis’ background is in development-sector consulting and social entrepreneurship. Previously, Nicola founded and managed Pledger Africa – a non-profit based on the principles of asset-based community development. She currently holds the tiles of Co-Founder of Food Equity, Equality and Democracy (FEED) and Head of Impact at Lucha Lunako. Some of her professional accolades include: Semi-Finalist in the Rockefeller Foundation Food System Vision Prize (2019/2020), UN SDSN Local Pathways Fellow (2020), Brightest Young Minds Alumnus (2021) and Map The System Regional Finalist (2022). She is currently working on an MPhil in Inclusive Innovation, with the subject being youth food equity futures in South Africa.
