Nazareen Ebrahim is a media, communications and technology specialist leading premier African communications business Naz Consulting International.
Nazareen has successfully produced and presented business television and radio programmes on Deen TV and Radio Al-Ansaar over the last few years. Her television business show ‘BizToday’ ran successfully for 3 seasons and featured many prominent business leaders.
Throughout her career, Nazareen has had the opportunity to interview a variety of interesting and leading figures. Her guests have ranged from former KZN MEC for Education Ina Cronje to World Economic Forum Head of AI And Machine Learning Kay Firth Butterfield, Professor Glenda Gray – President and CEO of the South African Medical Research Council, Arundhati Roy – globally renowned author of God of Small Things, and Palme d ‘Or winner at the Cannes Film Festival, Vimukthi Jayasundara amongst others.
She is a resident communications observer and analyst on Lotus FM’s Newsbreak Talk and often provides commentary on Cape Talk, 702, and more recently Sky News Arabia. Nazareen has also been featured on Business Day TV, SAFM and SABC News.
She is also the founder and CEO of Socially Acceptable – a not for profit tech research organisation whose mandate is to build a responsible digital citizenry. Nazareen is building her capacity as an AI Ethics Officer at the organisation.
Her portfolio over the last 15 years combines consulting, mentoring and training. As a respected international conference speaker, Nazareen has just completed a panel at the World AI Cannes Festival held in April 2022 and will be a key speaker at the upcoming Global AI Summit in Riyadh later this year.
