Poland is a country located at the crossing of major trade routes, thus becoming a meeting point for multiple cultures and nationalities. This is why Polish culinary heritage is so diverse and rich in unique flavours. The recipes and the methods of preparing products, proven over the years, are used today to produce food in state-of-the-art production facilities that meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Years of experience have come to fruition today, as consumers look for natural and traditional products that offer the highest quality, unforgettable taste and smell. The attractiveness of Polish agrifood products also lies in the ability to quickly adapt the offered product range to the needs of the recipients, even the most demanding ones. More and more popularity is enjoyed by organic products and by “superfoods”, that is products that offer additional healthy benefits.

Poland is one of the largest and most modern European producers of dairy products, such as cheeses and cheese curds, powdered milk and butter. Fruit juices made of apples, cherries, black currant, strawberries and chokeberries – these are the flagship products of Polish exports. Poland is the leader in the production and exports of frozen fruit and vegetables, with over 60% of them being exported.

The top products on the Poland's export list also include products and processed products made of fish, poultry, pork, and beef; chocolate products and sweets, as well as products made of grains (flour, groats, flakes, bran, muesli, pasta). Poland is also one of the leading producers of fruit and vegetables in the European Union, mostly apples, currants, raspberries, chokeberries, blueberries, mushrooms and carrots. Preserves made of fruit and forest mushrooms, popular and valued both by domestic and foreign consumers, are one of the Polish specialities.

Polish food specialities are promoted on foreign markets under the slogan “POLAND TASTES GOOD”, building a uniform promotional message addressed to a foreign recipient.
